AGREEMENT NUMBER - VS/2020/0101 Expanding and Improving Workplace Democracy as a Prerequisite for Humanising Labour and the Work Environment – DIRECT II

 

Project

The project is divided into three phases:

I. Preparatory phase (02/2020 – 07/2020) which will cover the following activities and events:

  1. Setting-up the project Steering committee, Project Research Team and preparatory activities;
  2. Preparation and carrying out of the Kick-off-meeting of the project in Sofia, Bulgaria in the first month of the project;
  3. Preparation and signing up of Agreements with all co-beneficiaries;
  4. Setting up the financial regulations and rules, establishment and elaboration of a continuouscontrol, monitoring and reporting systems in order to evaluate and monitor the project), etc.;
  5. Creating of the project website, the project logo and project leaflets;
  6. Development of dissemination and mainstreaming plan and strategy of the project;
  7. Research and analytic activities;
  • Developing an analytic framework for the three stages of the research (guidelines for the desk research, questionnaires for the national/branch level; guidelines for the case-studies);
  • Developing the guidelines for the content and structure of the National reports, based on the three stages of the research;

II. Main events (07/2020-07/2021):

  1. Collecting figures and data for the aims of the three stages of the research according the analytic framework in each co-applicant country;
  2. Developing National Reports containing the results of the research and analysis of the findings;
  3. Translation of the National reports (from Bulgarian, Italian, Greek, Spanish and Polish in English);
  4. Developing a Handbook of Good Practice Guidelines to assist management and employee representatives to smoothly facilitate the introduction of new technologies through enterprise level joint steering committees and joint implementation groups;
  5. Organising and carrying out of three meetings of the Project Steering committee followed by three European Round Tables and two Project Steering Committee meetings followed by 6 National workshops;
  • Second meeting of the project Steering Committee in Rome, Italy, followed by the first European Round Table (presenting the first stage of the research) in the fifth month of the project
  • Third meeting of the project Steering Committee in Madrid, Spain followed by the second European Round Table (presenting the results of the second stage of the research) in the 9th month of the project:
  • Fourth meeting of the project Steering Committee in Dublin, Ireland (presenting the third stage – the case studies) followed by the third European Round Table in the 12th month of the project:
  • Fifth meeting of the project Steering Committee in Nicosia, Cyprus in the 16th month of the project;
  1. Organising and carrying out of six National Workshops (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Italy, Ireland, Poland and Spain) for discussion, exchange of experience, capacity building in terms of knowledge and skills related on the specifics of direct participation and its links with the representative (including the trade union representation) participation;

III. Dissemination and Follow up activities (07/2021-02/2022):

  1. Sixth meeting of the project Steering Committee in Warsaw, Poland in the 20th month of the project;
  2. Preparing the content of the Final International Conference and carrying out the Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria - two day event in December 2021;
  3. Organising and carrying out of the final meeting of the project Steering committee in Sofia, Bulgaria following the Final Conference in the 23d month of the project;
  4. Development of the European Comparative Report containing the analysis of the National reports, some results, conclusions and recommendations from the three European Round Tables and the six National Workshops:
  5. Publishing of the European Comparative Report (EN);
  6. Organisation of the further dissemination and mainstreaming of the project results through the dissemination of the National Reports, the Comparative report, the Handbook of Good Practice Guidelines and the project leaflets;
  7. Carrying out of a final evaluation;
  8. Preparing the final implementation and financial reports;
